Includes real-time GPS tracking, automatic route optimisation and dispatching overview directly in the POS system. No additional fees per delivery or per kilometre driven — you only pay for actually active drivers.

Which devices does the driver app run on?

The app runs on all current iOS and Android smartphones. No special device needed — drivers can use their personal phone. iOS 14+ or Android 9+ is recommended so that GPS tracking and push notifications work reliably.

How accurate is the GPS tracking?

Accepted Answer

The live GPS is accurate to within a few metres and updates the driver's position every 5–15 seconds (depending on network quality and battery settings). All orders land centrally in the driver app — whether they come from Lieferando, Wolt, Uber Eats or directly from Gastro Master. One system for all platforms.

How is the driver app connected to my POS system?

Accepted Answer

If you already use a Gastro Master POS system, the driver app is immediately ready to use — orders land automatically in the app as soon as they are marked as 'delivery' at the till. No separate setup, no integration, no developers needed.

Can I see how many kilometres my drivers have covered?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the dispatcher dashboard you'll find detailed reports per driver, per shift and per delivery: kilometres, travel time and number of deliveries. Ideal for payroll, bonus systems and cost control.

Question 6

Is using the app GDPR-compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The driver app is fully GDPR-compliant. Location data is only captured during active shifts and deleted or anonymised at the end of the shift. Data processing takes place on German servers.
