  • Is there a minimum contract period?

  • How quickly do I get my own system?
    Typically you're live within 2–3 weeks. This applies to the online shop and app. The POS system is set up individually. We support you personally from day one.

Starting a Delivery Service

    Lieferando charges restaurants 14% of order value plus €0.69 per online transaction (marketplace model, as of 2025). With 500 orders at €20 per month, that's around €1,745 — just for the platform, every month. If you also use Lieferando's own delivery service, commission rises to up to 30%.   • Is starting your own delivery service worth it in 2026?

  • How do I switch from Lieferando to my own ordering system?

  • What is a TSE and do I need one?
    TSE stands for Technical Security Device — mandatory for all electronic POS systems in Germany since March 2021 (KassenSichV, §146a AO). New from July 1, 2025: All POS systems must additionally be registered with the tax office via ELSTER. The Gastro Master POS system is TSE-certified and supports registration.

  • How can I set the preparation time for orders?
    In the backend you set the default preparation time — e.g. 30 minutes. Customers see the estimated delivery time directly when ordering. Details on the app page.
  • How is the customer informed about extended preparation time?

  • Can I customize the notification sound for orders?
    Yes. In the backend you set how you're notified of new orders — loud, subtle or vibration. Details on ordering system configuration.
  • How can I set up promotions?

  • How do digital coupon codes work?
    You create coupon codes directly in the backend — with fixed amount or percentage discount. Customers enter the code at checkout. More about the ordering system.

Receipt Printer & Hardware

  • What happens if the printer loses internet connection?
    Orders are cached and printed as soon as the connection is restored. In an emergency you can see all orders on screen. Details about receipt printer and POS.
  • Can I connect the receipt printer via Bluetooth?
    Yes. Our receipt printers support WiFi and Bluetooth — ideal for cafés or counters without fixed cabling. More in the POS system section.
  • How can I print the daily report?
    In the backend under "Reports" you print the daily report with one click — directly via the connected receipt printer. Details about the POS software.
  • What do I do if I need spare parts?

  • What happens if the printer fails during operation?
